Assignment manager automatically assign and get stored in repository table.No need to compiling srf.Assignment Manger assign object to following
1.Employee
2.Position
3.Organization
It assigns objects to candidate and candidates can be employee,position or organization.
Assignment manager requires following object :
1.Assignemnt objects
2.rules - Crireia
3.Candidates
Assignment Objects : are Accounts,Campaigns,SR,Product defects,Opportunity,Activity.
Criteria : Skills,experties,Availability,product,workload,sales territory
Candiadtes : Employe Position Organization.
Assignment manager is important when data is very large and short time response.
Criteria are created from siebel web client.
Administrator ->Assignment
example :
1. 'Assign Account by sales region' following would be value for a specific example of assignment manager.
Object : Account
Candidates : sales rep - south
criteria : state:AC etc
2.Assign Service Request to skilled agents
Object : Service Request
criteria : candidate skill
Candidate : All
Assignment manager can run in batch mode/Real time/interactive assignment also.
Some more details:
1.Criteria inclusion method :include,Include all,include matching , exclude
Include : only go to finding one match.
Include All : all criteria should be matched.
Include All Matching :it is very near to include but it don't stop on one matching but continue with other matching .at last it count score and find out best suitable candidate.
Exclude : Should not be there.
Assigner filter value:
All,Above Min : to enforce customer satisfaction.it does not select who are below to minimum score.
All,Must Assign : At least one should be assigned.even minimum criteria has not been fulfilled.
One , Best Fit : maximum .
One , Random : anyone qualified randomly selected.
2.Criteria Comparison method :
1.Compare to object : set criteria on incoming object should match.
2.Compare to person : set criteria on candidates
3.Compare object to Person : set common criteria in object and candidate
4.Compare to Organization : set criteria on org
5.Compare Object to Organization : set common criteria for both .
Batch Assignment Component : for batch run,should be enabled.
before this you need to release Assignment rule by clicking Release button.

exclusive check box should not be checked for more then one rule.

Assignment Object : need to config in siebel tool.

Assignment Scoring Mode :
Independent (Assign position and org independently)
Org and Person oriented (Assign only position/organization pair that both qualify))
Organization oriented (Assign organization first then corresponding position.)
Person Oriented (Assign position first then Organization)
Default Candidate : If assignment manger can not assign .two rules have same score.no body score minimum.then we need to set default candidate.
Default setting needs to set in property window of Assignment manager object.
keep creator : true , keep original creator of objects.
